The "exhausted" Petra Kvitova declined to participate in Indian Wells

The world No4 Petra Kvitova officially has declined to participate the beginning in a few days tournament BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells. The Czech woman said she has felt "exhausted" and since some time she couldn`t show her best tennis. The champion of Wimbledon expressed a hope that she would return soon to the court.

"I am extremely disappointed that I must be withdrawn from the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, one of my favourite tournaments on the calendar. Unfortunately, in recent weeks I feel exhausted on the court and I can`t compete at 100%.

For this reason I decided to take a little time for a rest, so I can completely recover my energy and the level of play for the tournaments until the end of the season. The fans in Indian Wells are fantastic and I really look forward for next year to be able to play in front of them, "wrote Kvitova in her social network Facebook.

For the possibility Kvitova to draw back from the Indian Wells has been too much comment in recent days, but the fans of her still had a hope that she would participate in California. The final decision of the tennis player has already been a fact.
