Djokovic in the semi-final without a game

The world No1 Novak Djokovic qualified for the semi-finals of the "Masters 1000" tournament in Indian Wells. This happened after the opponent of the Serbian in the quarterfinals Bernard Tomic, withdrew because of injury. The Australian complained of back injury for which he was not able to get out on the court against Nole.

So in contention for a place in the final, the world No1 will face Andy Murray or Feliciano Lopez.

The Serbian is with 39 wins and 6 losses in Indian Wells, where he will try to play the final for the 5th time. After he stepped into the battle for the trophy in 2007 (loss of Nadal), Nole won the tournament in 2008 (victory over Fish), 2011 (win over Nadal) and 2014 (beating Federer).

The 27 years old Serbian is chasing a second title of the season, having a triumph in January of the Australian Open, his eighth Grand Slam title.
