Stoke City`s leadership is still awaiting a response by Enrique Sanchez Flores on the vacant managerial position in the team. Expectations are for it to be made later today. Currently, Flores works in the Espanyol team and is unlikely to be allowed to return to England from the Catalonian club.
Before heading for Espanyol, the 52-year-old is leading for a Watford season.
If Stoke did not receive a positive response from Flores, the potters` leadership was prepared with a spare option. This is the manager of the national team of Ireland Martin O `Neil. Stoke City is without a manager after Mark Hughes`s dismissal last week. On Monday, the team stays at Manchester United in a Premier League game.
