Lyon is going to welcome Valencia in a meeting of the Group H of the Champions League tournament. Here is our soccer prediction.
After the first round of the group stage, the leader in the group proved to be the Russian Zenit after beating Valencia as a guest with 2:3, and the rest of the teams managed to collect just a point in the asset.
Lyon made a pretty mediocre in the first round, after it failed expectations and finished tied with the team of Ghent. Although Lyon has opened just to score in the 58th minute after a goal from Christophe Boiling, shortly after `the kids` allowed them to catch up, given that the Belgians were left without Brecht in the 41st minute and Thomas Foket in the 88th minute, after both received red cards.
For today`s match, Lyon remained without a bunch of football players. Bakari Kone, Henri Bedimo Bakari, Nabil Grenie, Kleman Fekir, Rafael da Silva, Mathieu Valbuena, Arnold Mvuemba and Rashid Gedzal will surely miss the meeting. Hubert Fournier will have to work to find substitutes for most of them, which will give priority to visiting Valencia.
Valencia, on the other hand, underestimated Zenit to add points in the asset. The derby, which was offered by Zenith and Valencia was very interesting and dramatic, as ultimately the Bats simply underestimated the Russian Grand and it gives them a bad joke. Valencia really is a good team and proved it once took the lead in the score after 10 minutes of play, and after the end of the first half, the dashboard was showing 0:2 for the benefit of guests. Even in 55 minutes Joao Kanselu reduced the difference of 1:2, and in 73 minutes the score was equalized. Valencia was just helpless on the ground, and after three minutes Zenit reached a complete reversal, with which they won the match.
In the team of Nuno Santo, there is no information about injured or suspended players.
Lyon and Valencia are represented fairly equally in their leagues, as Lyon has made two losses so far, against only one side of Valencia.
Our soccer forecast from football predictions is 0 Valencia. (Asian Handicap)
