Neymar is going to have Spanish nationality

The Barcelona management intends to get Spanish nationality for the attacker Neymar to make room for a new player who comes outside of Europe.
According to the rules of the La Liga, each club is allowed to register a maximum of three players from outside the European Union at the club. At the moment this quota of the Camp Nou stadium is used by Neymar, Luis Suarez, and Marlon.
Players who come from the former Spanish colonies, have to wait two years for dual citizenship. All other foreigners from outside the European Union have to wait five years.
At the Camp Nou, they hope that they will manage to settle the documents of Neymar in the summer in order to have more freedom in the transfer market. As it is known, the Brazilian footballer passed into the ranks of Barcelona in the summer of 2013.
