The star of Leicester, Riyadh Marez, won the award for player of the year of the Professional Footballers Association.
Marez is at the core of the phenomenal season of the Foxes in 34 matches adviced by soccer predictions in the Premiership he has had 17 goals and 11 assists.
The award is given after a vote of professional footballers. The 25-year-old Marez came to the award in the competition of the scorers Tottenham Harry Kane, Mesut Ozil, Dmitri Paje from West Ham and his teammates Jamie Vardi and Cante.
Marez received the award at a stylish ceremony at a hotel in London just a few hours after the 4:0 success over Swansea, thanks to which Leicester got close to 5 points to the title.
The player dedicated his recognition to his teammates. `All merits are theirs, really. As for my manager and staff. Without them, I wouldn`t be getting this award, and I wasn`t going to get. This is team spirit and I want to dedicate it to them. Even more special is because the players have voted, and this is because they have seen how I have been good this year, so I`m happy. Without my teammates I wouldn`t have won this award.`
