Chelsea lodged documents for a new stadium

The Chelsea management was submitted by the required documents in the municipality for the initiation of a comprehensive reconstruction of the Stamford Bridge Stadium. The new facility will be a capacity of 60,000 seats. Currently the home of the Blues collects 41 000 spectators.
It is expected to be made significant improvements to the stadium, `to contribute to the comfort of the fans` during the household of Londoners duels.
According to the stated plans, the area around the stadium in Hammersmith and Fulham will undergo major changes, announced by the municipality.
It is still unclear when exactly will begin large-scale redevelopment of Stamford Bridge.
