The left fullback of Manchester City, Bakari Sagna, candidly stated that he was not fully able to play in the match against Liverpool after the terrorist attacks in his homeland France.
The citizens decreased by 1:4 at home against Merseysiders, which is their worst home loss since 2003, when they lost by Arsenal with a 1:5.
Sagna was a part of the French national team in the international break and the game from soccercapper against Germany on November 13, the night when two terrorists blew themselves up next to the `Stade de France`. Other attacks in Paris took the lives of 129 people.
`Against Liverpool happened one of those games when everything was against us, but I think we played badly.`, admitted Sagna. `We made a lot of mistakes against a strong team and they scored the situations. I felt depressed and it was hard to play.`
`For me, it definitely is not the best week. Sometimes, however, life is like that - there`s nothing you can do. It was not easy to be a part of those events in Paris.`, added the former Arsenal player.
